AVES

Word from the choreographer

Creation for the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal.

In this new creation, José Navas is inspired by the idea of the mythology of the phoenix and its ability to reborn from the ashes of its predecessor. From the rain forest sounds to Ravel’s Bolero, this piece is about resilience and rebirth, all expressed in movement.
